[ file av16.3_v6/EXAMPLES/VIDEO/README ] This example was provided by Dr Daniel Gatica-Perez( gatica@idiap.ch ). As an example, the results of applying three independent, appearance-based particle filters on 200 frames of the seq45-3p-1111 sequence, using only one of the cameras, are shown in in the PPM files in this directory and the video: av_good_750.ppm av_good_775.ppm av_good_800.ppm av_good_825.ppm av_good_850.ppm av_good_875.ppm av_good_900.ppm av_good_925.ppm av_good_950.ppm av-video.mpeg The sequence depicts three people moving around the room while speaking, and includes multiple instances of object occlusion. Each tracker has been initialized by hand, and use 500 particles. Object appearance is modeled by a color distribution in RGB space. For more information about the color distribution, please refer to: Perez, P., Hue, C., Vermaak, J., Gangnet, M.: Color-based Probabilistic Tracking. Proceedings of ECCV (2002).
